Hi,
Can anyone tell me if there is an alternative method of getting in touch with someone in relation to their MIS application. I have been trying the only number I have (for the Dublin North Central Unit) all day to no avail! I managed to get through to them yesterday and was told a Community Welfare Officer would ring me today however as I realise they are probabaly inundated at the moment I took it upon myself to get in touch this morning and just as well as I am still waiting for the CWO to contact me!!
The phone has been ringing off the hook ALL DAY!!!! I am at my wits end at this rate and need to find out the status of my application. Is there any other number I can ring....I rang my local SW office but was told the only route to go is via the central number for my area.
It seems ridiculous given the situation so many home-owners are in that an office responsible for assisting mortgage holders can appear to be un-manned for the entire working day!! There isn't even an answering/call-back service...surely it could be providing better public service than I currently experienced today.
Apologies if this appears as a rant but if anyone has any advice it would be much appreciated.
