hi all, We had Sanderson blinds out with us last week to measure and quote for blinds for our conservatory. We're expecting a long hot, sunny, summer :) Both my wife and I love the style of Sanderson blinds and the way they fit into the window, tight to the glass BUT the price is way to much for our budget.

Does anyone know any other company that supplies blinds similar to Thomas Sanderson blinds, but cheaper?

Ay advice and direction will be gratefully appreciated. optimistic

we used appeal blinds and got the venetians and they are the thinner of the 2 ones. got prices from them and sanderson blinds aswell. We much preferred the appeal ones and have had them for 2.5yrs now and they look as good as the day we got them.

They have stood the test of when they were installed of a 3 and 5 yr old.

Hope this helps.

I had Sandersons out for a quote for a large window and they quoted me over 2000e !! I told the guy he must be mad. Anyway, 2 weeks later they called me at 18.30 whilst I was busy making kids' dinners to question why I didn't buy their product, had the salesman not shown me the colours, had he not shown me the discount option (2000e was the discount!), had he not explained etc etc - she was getting stroppy with me for not buying their product!! Anyway, not impressed by either their prices or their manner...can't fault sales guy btw, he was very pleasant but was shocked with attitude of grumpy woman on phone...

Try East Coast blinds 087 2741632 - Joey. They did roller and venetian blinds in my house and I was very impressed with their price and service.

We have sanderson blinds in our conservatory - paid a fortune for them about 4 years ago. have had no problem with them I'd have to say.

When they guy from east coast was fitting the other blinds in our house last year I asked him if he does the sanderson type blinds and he said that he did so it might be worth giving him a call and getting a quote.

We would have loved the sanderson look but way too dear. Got a local firm who supplied aluwood blinds, venetian type, in wood effect aluminium , very thin look great. Best part is when they're folded totally up they take so little space and you get no intrusion on the upper portion of the window.
