Connecting speakers to a VCR or DVD

VCR and DVD have Scart sockets and RCA-type phono sockets.
I have a projector with very poor sound
I have powered Harman/Kardon speakers which have an earphone-type jack plug (normal 3.5mm). Where can I get connectors to connect the speakers to the DVD or VCR.??
 

You can buy a 2 Phono (RCA) to 3.5mm jack or a cable and a convertor like [broken link removed].

Be careful you don't overload the speakers - the level from the DVD could be too high. Choose a low volume setting initially.

Tks for reply but I need the very opposite of that. My speakers terminate in a male jack 3.5mm (designed to plug into an earphone socket).
So what I need is something with a female jack socket on one side and RCA phono leads on the other.
