Just bought an oxegen ticket off Ebay. Can I ring Ticketmaster with serial number to confirm it's not a fake ticket?

"Ticketmaster does not guarantee the authenticity of tickets purchased from any third party reseller (such as brokers or individuals)...
Ticketmaster recommends that you purchase tickets directly through Ticketmaster or from the venue's box office."

If you've bought it off ebay you should be able to check the seller's history and feedback from other buyers to satisfy yourself it's ok.

Dont know if this is the forum but I bought my son weekend ticket for Oxegen and he told me when he was clearing his room out after completing his leaving Cert at weekend his tickets are gone he thinks he might have thrown them out!! Anything he can do now or is it a hard learnt lesson for him.

I cant say for sure, but if you bought them with your credit card from ticketmaster you might have some luck.
i would contact them immediately.

Having been in the same situation before I can confirm Ticketmaster won't replace General Admission tickets (i.e., tickets for any venue that doesn't have reserved seats with numbers). If they did there would be no way to ensure somebody else didn't get admission with the original tickets.

Having said that you'd have nothing to lose by pleading your case - having worked in customer service places in the past I can tell you that if you're VERY persistent and keep asking to speak to managers (and managers' managers) they might do it for you to get you off the line!
