Confirm that Eurovox etc don't work on Free to Air Satellite?

From what little I know I gather that "Sky", i.e. satellite tv (Sky sports, Setanta etc.) cannot be unscrambled. Is this a fact?

(note I dont want info on how to do anything illegal - I have heard people saying/speculating that satellite channels can be unscrambled by Eurovox, Dreambox etc etc but afaik they're incorrect).

Anyone be definitive on this?

The "dodgy boxes" do not unscramble Sky channels received via satellite dish. They do (or have done up till recently) decode the ntl/chorus signals.

Some boxes do unscramble , but only a with valid current sky card.

There is no free way to get Sky.
