Hi Folk's I am currently at the end of the plastering of my bungalow with skylightes upstairs house and have noticed condensation on inside of breathable felt in the dead roof space. Its a natural slate finish ,I was wondering if it is all the moisture in ths skim and plaster is causing this ,as it was perfectly dry after the insulation and slabs were put up .There is no front door up ,Any opinions or thoughts are welcome ,Thanks in advance

Hi JR. I had the same problem about 2 months ago and was hoping to God it was also condensation. I have a couple of roof vents and also in the soffit so can't understand it.

Could just be the walls drying out, but might also be from the water tanks. Make sure they are covered and that the expansion tank for the radiators (if you have one) is set up correctly.

Similar problem myself when the walls were drying out after plastering for a couple of days.
Did not cause any damage apart from a couple of water marks but we got them sorted.
