Hi all
I'm currently planning a selfbuild with a concrete upper floor.
The issue I am slightly confused with is the precast slabs I been told require 100mm to rest on.
When two slabs meet I have only got 100mm to work with unless I use 215mm cavity blocks which I have been advised against due to their lower weight capacity.
Do I need to use the standard solid block on the flat or is there a solid block available that is the same size as a 215mm cavity block?
Completely new to the precast method....
