My friend bought tickets to Celine Dion concert on the 15/11/2007 but has not yet received them. Is this a normal lenght of time to wait for tickets? He is concerned that they may have been lost on route. It is not possible for him to contact ticketmaster direct.
If you do not receive your tickets by 2 business days prior to an event, call your local Customer Service Department immediately. Be prepared with the confirmation number for your account, or the purchasing Credit Card. The agent will determine the nature of the problem, and if your tickets are replaceable, instruct you as to where and when to pick up your replacement tickets. This is normally done at the Box Office prior to the show, and the tickets are marked as "Duplicate" so that they are easily identified as the valid tickets. Replacement tickets can only be picked up by the Credit Card holder with the original credit card used in the purchase.
Also tell them to check their email confirmation. For the last tickets I bought the email stated:
"Tickets will be despatched as soon as possible, but may not be received until 7-10 days before the event. Please do not contact us unless you have not received your tickets within 7 days of the event."
Your friend can view his order online and it will tell him if the tickets have been dispatched or not. I bought celine dion tickets also and they were only dispatched to me last Thursday.
