composting toilet

Does anyone know of a supplier for a composting toilet ? ANyone have any experience of one?

I have been looking into this for my build:
Envirolet sell them here http://envirolet-europe.com/ms10.html

They ship to Ireland and the price range is €1-3k, expensive but then again you wont need a septic tank. If you search envirolet on youtube there are lots of useful videos. Envirolet seem to be the biggest company but I also found these guys

I dont know what the situation is as regards compliance with the Waste Water Treatment regulations. I emailed the epa about it and they sent me a vague response which left me none the wiser. I know in my own case one of the stipulations of planning permission is that the effluent waste disposal system must be in acordance with epa stipulations.

Composting Toilets

Hi,

I have done a lot of research into this topic and the envirolet doesn't come out well. It's is important for units to have NSF 41 certification
