Compensation for delayed baggage

Hi

I am looking to find out if I am entitled to compensation for delayed baggage. when returning from holidays it took the airline over six weeks to return my luggage. I can't get any reply from the airline on this

 
No excuse for Aer Lingus not to respond to you. It is taking them 1 month to respond to letters. They will not accept a complaint by email. The manager of the customer service area is a Ms.Caroline Crawford.
