Compatible Ink required for Advent Printer.

I have an Advent Printer. I need to get some ink refills for it but I am having difficulty finding ink that is compatible with it. I am looking for the cheaper variety rather than pay the very expensive price for the recommended ink. Anyone with an Advent computer that can advise?
