I've been searching for a site that compares grocery prices between the major supermarkets in Ireland (on most products) that's kept up to date on a daily basis. Does one exist?
I've noticed a big difference in prices in Chemists too. Had been buying a particular brand of face cream in Boots for ages at 11.70 (day cream) and about €15 (night cream). Found it yesterday in another chemist for 8.99 (day) and 9.99 (night). No special offer or anything. I've found big differences in prices of person care products in supermarkets as well as chemists and have found myself saving quite alot on shopping round.

Was it www.valueireland.ie who used to maintain some sort of comparative list and do regular reports on grocery prices? Not sure if it was or if they still do...
In Supervalu the other day, there was a sign on one of the freezers..Icecream X, Pricewatch. Our price- €2.18, Tesco price €2.18, Dunnes Stores price, €2.18. Value for money. Thought it was funny- striving to be value for money by competing so closely.
