I've moved to Ireland from the UK where I had both Barclaycard VISA and Amex credit cards.
I now need an Irish credit card. Barclaycard don't have them here, so I can't transfer that account. AMEX is not widely accepted, so I need a new card.
Where can I easily compare/contrast the merits of the credit cards in the Irish market. I almost always pay off the full amount (by direct debit each month - ony changing this if I have unusual cash flow problems), so I'm most intersted in:
1. Internet management of the account
2. Widely accepted around Ireland
3. A good loyalty scheme offered (my UK Barclaycard was good with links to many vendors, and the Amex offered British Airways miles)
4. Good customer service
5. Lastly the interest rates, for the very rare time I don't pay it all off.
I have ony one bank account so far here so far- an AIB current account.
All advice very much appreciated. Thanks.
