I posted briefly on this before. I am involved in a voluntary capacity with an organisation & am slowly realising that the Board Directors are not well informed about their responsibilities. A former employee was paid for 2 months after they left, the former employee informed the Company Secretary & another Director, they did nothing (this seems to be their approach to most issues!) They are now trying to organise the re-payment of the money but my real question is does the Company Secretary not have a case to answer as he didn't act when he should have and does the statement "Possession is nine tenths of the law" actually have any bearing in this case? Thanks,
