Company in Liquidation-Paid by Credit Card

Hi All,

I bought something from the Bag Shop Online but they have gone into liquidation. I used a credit card. I contacted my bank expecting them to refund my money, I thought that was the arrangement with credit cards. they have told me to go looking for the money off the liquidator.

Am I not protected automatically by having paid by credit card?

Initiate a chargeback. Don't take no for an answer.

Key point also is to make it clear you never got the goods...as Mr Bond said insist on a chargeback. Do not take no for an answer.
