Company has not paid PAYE or PRSI - what to do?

Hi,
I worked 4 weeks at the end of last year on a fixed term basis as a PAYE employee. I received a breakdown of the tax and contributions to be paid to Revenue via the company's accountant. To date the payments are not visible on-line through Revenue's PAYE on-line system.

I want to balance my taxes for 2008 as I paid emergency tax.
I was told in March there was "a delay in paying the tax" and it would happen. It has not.

What I plan to do next is inform Revenue of this directly. Is this the best way to resolve this?

Thanks,
Peterus

Once the paper P35 for 2008 was filed you can get a a balancing statement for yourself. You do not have to wait for the company to pay it- That their problem now not yours. Main thing is paper p35 filed

re p35-If you have access to company ros, look under paye/prsi returns- see date revenue received it or if still outstanding.

a phone call to revenue quoting company tax number would also confirm it or just ask accountant was it filed

Get your P60 and apply for your balancing statement by post for 2008.

You are entitled to a P21 balancing statement for 2008 .

There is no need for you to ask your employer any questions regarding P35 etc
