Company change of ownership/name

I have been working for the same company for 12 years. Now the company is being taken over by 4 employees.
If they change the company name will this change my 12 years service/rights.
In the event of future redundancy I might be due, if it closes in the next few years.

Short answer is "NO", it will not effect your service or entitlements
