Commute to Athy

Hi,
Does anyone here commute regularly from Navan/Kells area to Athy? If yes what time do you travel at, how long does it usually take, & what do you find to be the best route - Trim to Summerhill to M7; Navan to Dunshauglin to Dunboyne to Maynooth to M7; or N3 to M50 to M7?
Thanks in advance for any info.

P.S. Apologies if this is in the wrong forum, wasn't sure if it fitted better here or in transport & travel?

Hi,

Well I've done the journey & it's approx 65 miles each way & takes about 1hr 30 minutes to 1hr 45mins. This was early morning as I'd be starting work at 7am.

I'm guessing as there's been no replies that nobody does this particular commute but if anyone has any opinions on doing a commute of this time/distance I'd appreciate hearing them.

Thanks

My advice would be steer clear and I mean well clear of N3/M50 - its an absolute mess at the moment. A monument to the Dept of Transport.

Stick to the back roads.

Once you get on M7/N7 (however you get there) it will be heaven for you straight down and against the traffic.
