Commercial property investments in Chicago

Have you any advice for me comtemplating investing in the Chicago America commercial property market

declan, have you researched the market, are u familiar with the location. have you visited the area, whats the demand for commerical property in the area. i am not sure about commerical property but the american property is getting alot of bad press and there may be a recession on the horizon over there. have you considered what this market has to offer over other markets.

Hi Declan. Just found your thread and wondered if you have made any progress in investing in commercial property in Chicago. I'm going over there in a couple of weeks on an inspection trip and will concentrate mostly on commercial property. I am aware of some with triple net agreements which appear good value.
Anybody with advise or recommendations or previous experience....???
