My sister set up business in above- when his her income tax return due to revenue for 06?

Under the commencement rules, her 2006 and 2007 tax returns are due by 31st October2008. She possibly should have already paid preliminary tax.

Thanks for that. As she is a sole trader, is prelim tax re. the business only or on the basis of her overall liability

also revenue sent her a letter saying return due (maybe it was some standardised letter?)

Standard letter sent to everyone. I think it mentions in the letter that if trade commenced during 2006 to ignore this letter.
