Today i saw a combi condensing boiler at B&Q (Cork) for less then €400.-, it was reduced by 50% ,special offer. Manufacturer:Ravenheat. Model: HE 85. Fuel: Natural gas. Output was stated as 10.6 kW, 16.4 kw, 22.3 kW. For pressurised domestic hot water, min. press. 2.5 bar , capacity 12.2 l/min DHW. Sedbuk range "A".
It did not state if it was a modulating type on the box, but with the Sedbuk rating of "A" it is most likely a modulating type. But ask.
I have seen posts here on AAM where some people had been asked €150.- for a repair of the old boiler....A new boiler would mean 2 years guarantee, repairs for free during the guarantee time.
