Cologne - Direct Flights

Thinking of heading to Cologne for a few days next Feb. Does anyone know if there are direct Aer Lingus flights to Cologne or what indeed is the name of the airport in Cologne so that I can investigate myself.

Used Germanwings a couple of years back, very reliable, would recommend. Think the airport is called Koln if I recall

Keep Dusseldorf Airport in mind too, it's not too far from Cologne and the Aer Lingus flights are quite regular, used to be 2 a day.

Yep - I've done that before. It's the way to go.

German Wings only fly in the summer. You will have to fly to Dusseldorf and get the train from the airport to Cologne - it's pretty painless though. In my experience, I have just stepped off the flight onto the train. Takes about an hour.
