Does anyone know if I can switch my CA and household benefits package to my husband who's currently in receipt of JSA? I have a place in college in September and could go if they gave me BTEA and my husband took over the caring responsibilities?

Don't want to lose our Domiciliary Care Allowance and Carers Allowance. It was hard fought for and granted on appeal.

Your hubby will have to apply in his own right for Carer's Allowance.You may qualify for BTEA if you are not getting a social welfare payment but your spouse/partner is getting an Increase for a Qualified Adult in their social welfare payment for you.
