Coastal or woodland cottage weekend

I and my better half are looking for a cottage in the Limerick/Clare/Tipp area for a weekend. Somewhere either near the sea or more preferably in mountains/woodland for walks, horseriding etc...

Any suggestions

Hi,

Ballyvaughan in North Clare would be my recommendation.

I've stayed here, it couldn't be described as a cottage, but, it is a beautiful house in an amazing location. There are cottages if you search www.ireland.ie.

If you do go, make sure you go to Linnane's, for some really good-value, really fresh seafood and Guinness!
