Clowns driving in the rain

Once again, a bit of extreme weather highlights the complete incompetance and lack of cop-on of many Irish drivers. I was driving on the M4 on saturday afternoon in the torrential rain. Cars ahead were almost invisible due to the volume of water hitting the windscreen and amount of spray thrown up. Many drivers had fog-lights and hazards on and had reduced speed yet still there were idiots refusing to slow down and driving no lights on, apparently oblivious to the conditions around them. When will people learn?!?!?!

Saturday night, leaving Dublin city centre in a taxi, through Harolds X - taxi we were in was driving too close to car in front, another taxi. Taxi in front suddenly brakes hard at lights - that he must have seen were on amber and on the way to red on his approach, but only screeched to a stop at the last minute. As a result our driver slams on the brakes and skids right up to the back of him, stops literally inches from the other cars boot. Both of them driving like fools given the conditions.
