Me and a few other people are on the committee of a community playschool.
Due to falling numbers it has now come to the stage where the playschool can no longer support itself due to rising costs, falling numbers and staff wages.
We have decided that due to severe funds we will have to close.
We have enough funds to pay all our debts and close the school but after that there will be nothing left to pay any redundancy to the staff.
We are a unincorporated association and hold no profits, our tax status is charitable.
Can anyone tell me what happens to the staff for statutory redundancy?
