Clonmel....Cooleens close

Hi,
A friend of mine is thinking of moving to clonmel and renting a house in cooleens close in clonmel. Just wondering what the area is like and would you reccommend it.

Just Googled it and there are two properties on DAFT in that area. One is €60,000 and the other is €170,000.

Your friend should go and look at the property and walk around the area. There is obviously a good reason why the prices are so diverse.
 
Tell him to try glenoaks way or even oldbridge(closer to town).
 
The best way to get an idea of the area is drive around it at 10pm on a weekend night. You'll quickly discover what places to avoid. There are some lovely houses on the Cashel road out of Clonmel.
