I just had a call from DCC. 3 bed houses in Clongriffin for 220k. Too far from work for me to take up the viewing appt, but they're on offer if anyone else is interested.

Now I know prices are falling but 220k for a house....the last offer I had from Dcc was 290k for a 2 bed appt last month. Bit of a difference unless the girl meant 320k

SOunds great. What development within Clongriffin is it?

I was thinking same Kara, course Im interested but I have heard nothing about this. Although DCC were checking out my financial details recently so maybe a round of offers is due soon

That is mental....I got offered a 1 bed for 200K and a 2 bed for 220k in Clongriffin.....but if it's Marrsfield the purchase price is very attactive but with til ya see the clawback...check out the posts on Marrsfield...issues with getting clawback reduced etc etc.
Id say they've dropped the price even further cos anyone who was offered in Marrfield had turned it down.

I never asked what part of Clongriffin it was. They just said " you expressed interest in Dublin North Central and we we have...." The wierd thing is I never ticked Clongriffin in the last draw as I know its near impossible for me to get to work from it. They also offered me a viewing in finglas, which they said Id ticked even though I know I didnt.

Now if theyd just ring with an area near to work Id be delighted...

thats fantastic offer, i live there and its a brill esate, we're due a dart statin In late 2009 - work already commenced on this, and we have our own bus route of 128 (terminus starts in estate) first bus is 6.10am or something, and goes up malahide road, through fairview, through S green and onto rathmines. Excellent service of bus ever 10 minutes and every 15 to 20 mins off peak. Only thing i'd say is most houses in estate don't have a front garden, but all bar a few have nice sized back garden :) fab estate.
