Hi - we are looking at purchasing a bungalow at the moment. The back garden has lots of trees, plants, a greenhouse and a fountain. While these are lovely I know I wouldn't have the time to maintain them and I'd rather just have the back garden laid in plain grass so that the kids can run around and I can see them at all times. Just wondering if anyone has any ideas on costs involved in this. Many thanks.
people spend a fortune to have trees, plants, greenhouses and fountains.....
why dont you try to retain as much as you can.... or preserve the fountain etc so it can be restored.....
plants and tress also provide a vital natural habitat for wildlife, kids can have much more fun playing in an 'established' garden rather than a green lawn........ usually peppered with plastic wendy houses and last summers paddling pool...
