cleaning sick stain on soft material car seat

hi all, looking to clean out my car after the youngfella got sick in it the weekend without damaging the color or the naterial. Its a real soft black material in my VW and i dont want to resotr to a vallet... not without giving it a go meself
any sugestions would be great

Hot soapy water. Sponge it out.

Go to a hire shop and rent a carpet shampooer. Its just a wet hoover and is extremely effective. Wont damage the material ( sounds like velour) do the whole car though or you may have a very clean patch.
