Just wondering if anyone has actually tried one of these out? (obviously not for themselves )

[broken link removed]

They are supposed to break down "doggie doo". Have a golden retriever who produces quite a bit of waste and would prefer not to just tie it up in a bag and chuck it in the bin.

Have read a couple of customer reviews on amazon that were not too encouraging, so just wondering if anyone else has had a more positive experience of them.

Thanks,
Donal

We tried one of those many years ago and it didn't work, we ended up with a disgusting mess.

we tried it with a lab too and the volume of poo he generated just was too much for this bucket to handle. Maybe if you only used it occasionally it might work better

They have some neck in labelling this product as green - a plastic bucket containing chemicals and deodrant.

I tried one of these work about 6 months, really a waste (pardon pun) if you have anything other than a very small dog with very small poo! It was supposed to break down using the agent and go through the soak, a bit like a mini septic tank, but the volume is just too great with an medium to large sized dog.

I lift the manhole on the sewer instead.
