Can somebody please help. I seem to be going around in circles. I worked in the UK from 1985 to Sept 1992. I came back to Ireland and started working from 1993 until my mother became ill and broke her back so I became and still am her carer from 2011. The letter I received from the UK pensions gave me 11 years grace for UK pension. However the are quoting me 824 a year from 2006 up to 2024, so far to buy back national insurance stamps. Naturally I don't have nearly 15,000 to do that! But am wondering why 824 when other pay 168 a year. Would really appreciate any help or advice . Thanking you
