A friend of mine has been paying contributions into a pension scheme for the last 6 years. She is a PAYE worker but the pension is not through her employer, rather it is one that she arranged herself through BOI. She has never claimed any tax relief on these contibutions.
Can she claim tax back for the full 6 years worth of contributions and if so, how should she go about it?
Any advice appreciated.
