Hi...hoping someone might be able to help me with this one. My sister was working in Ireland from Jan to May 2008 in a bank (entry level job). She left in May to go work in Lanzarote and has been there since. However, between Jan and May she got a good bit of dental/orthodontic work done costing about 2,500 euro. Would she be entitled to claim anything back on a Med2 form based on her employment until May 2008? Thanks.

She can claim a refund of tax - if she has paid tax - however, if she only worked for a short time and her tax was covered by her tax credits - she may not have paid any.
