Civil Service Retirement

Does anyone know the deal with this? Is it 1.5 or 1.66 times your final salary you get as a lump sum after 40 years? Is your pension 50% of your salary again if after 40 years?
Do you have to be at yoru final salary a minimum number of years or months before you can retire with it??
