Just enquiring if anybody succeeded in persuading the Affordable Homes Partnership or the South Dublin County Council to lower the market value of an apartment they were purchasing.
The market value seems high.
I know there has been various posts in relation to market values and a lot of frustration has been endured but any advice on how best to approach this would be greatly appreciated.
The Affordable Homes website (www.affordablehome.ie) states that "A number of affordable two bedroom apartments are available with prices starting from €230,000."
Depending on what apartments are remaining (as some have presumably already been purchased under the inititiave) this price range goes to approx. €260,000.
