what does anyone think of investing in apartment in budapest in the below developement - is it worth buying !!!!

The City Center Park, as its name reflects also is located in the central area of the city, in the 8th district of Budapest, at arms’ length to Blaha Lujza Square, under 18-20-22 Tolnay Lajos Str., and 17-19-23 Fecske Str.

District VIII has a very poor reputation in Budapest. It's the cheapest part of the 'city centre' with good reason. Blaha Lujza Square is not a pleasant part of the city either. What price per square metre have you been quoted for this development? It's important to know too that this area is not particularly central and the name 'city center park' is purely for the purposes of marketing.

I don't know the budget range or finishings of this project, but the location is really bad. District XIII will maybe become better over years, but in the meantime it's still a grey and dangerous city part.
Simply look at the construction pics: do you know anyone who would like to live in the middle of this awful neighbourhood? The nearby houses look like they hardly survived WWII.

There's so much better to find in Budapest!

thanks , they are looking 1250 euro per sq metre - total - 68,985 plus car space 10,000 . Is this deal ok. I think the area will improve , as its got trams quite close, easy access to city.

Let me know good deal bad deal

In the centre of Budapest though, almost everywhere is close to trams, metro, etc. Good public transportation is seldom a major concern.

Who knows if it will be a good or bad area in ten years' time, but as of now, I don't know anyone who would invest in this development.
