I own a 2007 model Citroen C4 Picasso with rear "up and over" door. My wife, who is petite, opened the door yesterday and the handle & door trim came off in her hands. I checked it and the trim had sheared in 4 different places. The local dealer is looking to charge me 397.52 Euro to fix it, claiming that it's outside the 2 year warranty period. I have put a call into Citroen After Sales to see if they can help and I am waiting for their response. Frankly, I was shocked that a car less than 3 years old would have this happen during normal operation. The door or rear of the car was never hit or damaged in any other way. Has anyone else had a similar problem and does anyone have any advise on what I should do ? Thanks
