Guys,

Any feedback on CianLea in Swords. My sister is looking at buying a house there.

THanks

lived there up to 2 years ago so my information is a bit old - we lived in the newer part of cianlea in a cul-de-sac with 12 houses in it - at the time there were 4 houses out of 12 rented out and we used to have loads of parking problems with cars literally dropped everywhere - take a drive around it after about 7 at night to suss it out. met old neighbours recently and they seem happy there but another house was just being sold for investment and rental to health board.
houses however were well built and gardens were reasonable for the size of house.
just beside 41 bus stop and only 15 minutes walk to main street so location is good.

They are gorgeous houses in a nice spot handy to JCs supermarket.

Houses being sold to be rented by RA tenants sounds ominous though, high risk of really bad tenants. Having said that I live beside quite a few African lone parents on social welfare and have to say they are the quietest neighbours I've ever had.

Is it really that hard to find working tenants in Swords these days?
