Christmas Day Swim - Cork - Help?

Sorry to use the "C" word pre-Hallo'w een but I am hoping to do a sponsored swim this Christmas morning and am wondering where in the general Cork suburbs area one might be held. (AReas such as Inchydoney/Kinsale/Garryvoe/Crosshaven - 30-40 min drive from the city)

any help/contact details greatly appreciated

I believe there is one in Fountainstown(though not 100% certain) & there is also one in Youghal-r at least used to be.

 

[Marathon Man]

Myrtleville - about 1.5 miles from Fountainstown - is very popular for Christmas Day swims a lot of the organised groups head there.

[Btw, if the water's too cold, you could always try the Goal Mile run, bet 10am and 12.30pm at the CIT instead! ]
