Choosing between a 20" and 24" Dell Ultrasharp Monitor

Which would you choose between

There doesn't appear to be a 22" version of the Dell Ultrasharp flat widescreen monitor.

The smaller has a power consumption of 55W, and the larger 57W so there's not much difference there.

I suppose many would opt for the 24" monitor, but maybe this is too large a monitor and maybe better to opt for the 20" monitor? Any thoughts...

I had a 20" ultrasharp for over a year and thought that it was just awesome. Switched to a 24" a few months ago and gave the 20" to a friend.

Now whenever i see the 20" at his home it looks tiny in comparison & i don't know how i managed with it!

I say go for the 24" if you can afford it. it's well worth it and it will be a looong time before you outgrow it.

Fully agree. You will not regret buying the 24" monitor.

Are you really sure you want to buy a Dell monitor? I am speaking as someone who has had two monitors fail in the past 2 years, needless to say outside the warranty period. Dell customer support was no help despite my being a (former) lifelong customer with them. Their Customer Support problems are well known, but now that their quality is down the tubes as well, it may be wise to look elsewhere.

(On a personal note, it may be that the only compensation I get out of Dell is to deny them a sale, but at least there will be some small satisfaction in that!!!)

Are there any 22" or 24" widescreen monitors which you would choose instead of the 24" Dell™ 2407WFP A04 ? Any which are at least as good?
