Has anyone actually got their hands on this yet (by hook or by crook) and if so, is it any good ? I hope it is, tbh. I'll buy it either way though.

I'd certainly be interested in hearing it. I'd only buy it though if it was confirmed to be a masterpiece, as I was never a huge G'n'R fan really anyway.
I'm a huge Gn'R fan...met Axel in '06 luckily..absolute legend! But the fact that he's the only guy left in the group dissapoints. Velvet Revolver sound more like original Gn'R...except for the lead vocals! Maybe a re-group for a big tour someday...every other band is doing it!
I got it in HMV yesterday but only listened to it on my ipod on the way into work this morning. I like it so far but I'd heard some of the demo tracks already and liked them. I'll give it another listen on the way home.
