hi

usually we get an entertainer for our daughters birthday but this year have decided to do it ourselves (hopefully that idea wont come back and bite us!!) as we will have one for her Communion in May.

one of the ideas i have is to have a painting session (most kids age 8). was thinking of getting some flower pots for them to paint, give them some clay and let them plant a little flower for their moms for mothers day.

would this work do you think and where could i get little pots? some toy shops have some but they come with paint etc which i dont need as we have loads.

thanks everyone

Any decent garden centre will have pots in all sizes and materials at a fraction of the cost of a toy shop.

will ring a couple tomorrow so. thanks for that.

do you know if any type of pot can be used (eg plastic) or do they have to be a special type.

thanks!!

I don't think it is possible to paint plastic pots unless you have specialized paint.
If you intend using poster paint, terracotta pots would be best.
