Hello,
I am currently a BUPA "Essential Plus" subscriber on behalf of my wife, three young children (8,7 and 4) and myself.
Some time back a friend suggested that there is really no upside in actually insuring the 3 kids on the scheme, particularly as there are no private hospitals for children.
So if I were to simply 'drop' them from the policy until such time as they are more likely to want (need?) a private room and service - be that when they are teenagers or ever ...
Any downside to this choice?
Any upside, other than saving a couple of hundred euros a year ?
Thanks for any insights,
Y
