Child tracker device

One of my kids brought home a copy of "Primary Times" (this is a free magazine that seems to be sent home every quarter) yesterday and towards the back there's an article called "Satellite keeps eye on children". PM me if you'd like me to scan in the page and I can send it to you.

Do 9 year olds have cellphones?
I know my nephews don't!

Just to give some feedback on this; I wouldn't agree with a 9 year old having a mobile phone either, but we got one of the firefly phones mentioned earlier in the thread. This is going down a treat with my son, it's cool enough for him not to mind the restrictions on functionality, because of flashing lights and images that come on intermittently, and it's so handy when he's at a friend's house to phone and say can he stay another half hour, or for me just to check in and see where he is and what he's up to. So thanks to the poster who suggested that!
