Child payment

I was put on a 3 day week a while back and started claiming welfare for the other 3 days. When I made my claim I could not claim for our kids as my husband was earning too much. Since then my husband has had to sign on and he is only getting half child payment a week.

Am I entitled to claim the other half or are we only entitled to half as both of us are claiming?

Yes, you should inform them of the change in circumstances and they will backdate your half-rate child dependant allowance to the day your hubby started claiming.
