can anybody help me.im searching the web like mad trying to find a list of what the child benefit payments were from 1998-2008 i can find the odd year but not all as it is a matter of urgency so to speak that i get this,iv tried to get the info from social welfare but they said i need to post a letter in writing & that they will then reply but that could take till next week which i cant wait till.anybody know of any sites or places to get this info ????

I vaguely remember it was around £30 in 1999.

Fianna Fail's election literature might show a graph of how it has increased as they were proud of this. I can't seem to find any of the manifestoes on line right now though.

Citizen's Advice might also have a record of the historical figures.
