Child Allowance / Eu Regulations

Hello all,
I applied in July of 2012 for child allowance for my two children born in France. Their father is French and working over their. Because of regulations here I have to wait for a response from the french authorities until I get child allowance. Sligo have informed me that the allowance will be back dated, but that is not much good to me at the moment. I am still awaiting for a response from France, I have contacted all authorities over there too including the french embassy with any luck. We are now coming to end of 2013, anybody in the same situation? Anybody have any suggestions? Tks

If you are still with the father and he is working in france then france pays not here. If you are separated and say on lone parents or you are working here then ireland pays.
