Chelsea Flower Show - accommodation?

Bringing Mrs A to the Chelsea flower show in May as a treat (for me, too!). Looked over hotels on usual websites - nothing spoke to me.

Could anyone who's done it suggest a good hotel nearby (interesting decor, not too dear) and something to do the following day (Sunday) before we go back? (We like jazz, galleries, history and afternoon tea.)

Thanks

Went last year. Took first flight from Dublin to LHR on a Saturday morning and got to Chelsea pretty early with plenty of time to see the all the gardens. We checked into Claridges. It has history, nice decor and they did a great after noon tea. The package we got included bed and breakfast, a bottle of Champagne and a late check out which was great because our flight home was late on Sunday so we took full advantage of two full days and only needed one night accommodation. It wasn't too expensive.
