Check your credit card for small regular payments

I heard a guy on BBC Radio 4 today saying that four years ago when booking a Ryanair flight, he got a pop-up asking him if he wanted discounts on future flights. He clicked yes and has just discovered that he has been paying £10 a month for the privilege. In total he has been charged £400

he explained that he actually ticks off his credit card every month but assumed "it had something to do with eBay" and didn't pursue it.
